Overview of Advanced OB-GYN Associates

Dr. Salter was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Abilene Christian University and graduated Cum Laude in 1983, graduated from Texas Tech Medical School 1988, and completed his residency at The University of Kentucky in 1992.In the fall of 1992, he began his medical practice at a multi-specialty clinic in Texarkana, TX. After two years in Texarkana he and his wife decided to move to Dallas where he joined a large Ob-Gyn group in 1995. In 2008 and two former partners formed Advanced OB-GYN Associates.Dr. Salter is married, and he and his wife have three children. When not at the hospital or office, he and his family enjoy all outdoor activities, including running, snowboarding, scuba diving, tennis, and golf. He has been active in coaching his children’s youth basketball teams for several years.
