Shefali Pappu, M.D. grew up in College Station, Texas (Gig ‘Em Ags!). She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed medical school at Texas A&M University and went on to complete her residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Pappu knew from a young age that her dream was to become a physician. However, it was in college that she truly discovered her love for women’s health through her coursework in anthropology and public health. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care—physical, emotional, and mental—for women of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Dr. Pappu is skilled in the treatment of gynecologic disorders, minimally invasive surgery, and complete obstetrical care, including high-risk obstetrics.
