Overview of Pioneer Memorial Hospital

The hospital opened in 1950 and has undergone various renovations over the years. Pioneer Memorial Hospital has an active medical staff of three physicians, one physician’s assistant and one advanced family nurse practitioner. Ancillary services include home health, hospice, physical therapy, radiology, and laboratory. Radiology services include x-ray, CT, ultrasound, dexa scan for bone density testing and mobile mammography and MRI. Our laboratory is licensed to perform a wide variety of on-site testing.

The hospital’s emergency department maintains an Oregon Trauma Level IV designation. All registered nurses working in the emergency department are certified in trauma care, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric life support.
