Overview of Pomerado Hospital

Palomar Health began with two community health care providers, a nurse and a dietician, who shared concerns about the health care needs of our community. From that grassroots, community-led effort, Palomar Health has grown to be the largest public health-care district in California with an 800-square-mile service area- one of the seven largest in the United States - and home to North County’s only designated trauma center covering 2,200 square miles.

Palomar Health will be the health system of choice for patients, physicians, and employees, recognized nationally for the highest quality of clinical care and access to comprehensive services.

Services Used:

This Hospital has been the best I have ever experienced, and I've been through a lot of Hospitals in the area. As soon as I got there, the Lead Nurse in the ER, "Chris" made me feel like I made the right choice by going there and even tried to make me as comfortable as they could even though they were packed that day and supper busy with the whole covid thing going on. Then after I was admited to the hosp, The dr was amazing at the surgery I needed. The nurses were great and very friendly. The food was top. most importantly the case worker I had while there took the time and really helped a lot with my whole situation. Thank you all for everything you have done for me I am in a better place in my life because of all of you. Be Blessed
