Do you know when you can tell if the provider genuinely cares about you, your well-being, and your current problems and concerns? Well, this provider was the opposite. During my appointment, I felt completely invisible. I felt as if I was just a number to her. She'd ask me questions, and I would try to answer them to the best of my ability; however, she would NOT let me finish my answer before she would CUT ME OFF and ask another question. Each question that she asked while she conducted her assessment was this way. I felt bullied. I felt pressured. This did NOT in any way feel like a normal appointment. This was an interrogation! I felt that she had already made up her mind about me no matter what I said or how I did on that damn paper exam. She made me mentally shut down, and I just started to say whatever she wanted to hear so that I could get the hell out of her office. She ONLY spoke to me in a condescending tone. She NEVER PHYSICALLY examined me! If you are referred to her, RUN!!
