Dr. Maddalon attended college at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where he played varsity basketball. He graduated cum laude and later received a Master of Science degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Dr. Maddalon graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He performed his orthopedic surgery training at the Hospital of the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Today, Dr. Maddalon specializes in total joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery and has performed hundreds of minimally invasive (mini-incision) hip and knee replacements.
