This so-called doctor nearly killed me. He totally botched the shoulder replacement he performed on me. He misprescribed medication he insisted I had to have after I told him I wasn't to have it, at a dose more than 5 times what he said he was prescribing. This caused internal bleeding resulting in the necessity of 4 blood transfusions. The shoulder replacement had to completely removed and redone just 6 weeks after he butchered me. His associate did the revision. I've been to 3 surgeries who specialize in shoulder replacement revisions who all said there was nothing they could do to help me. Today, after 3 1/2 years, I finally found an expert who is going to be able to help me. He had informed me that I have a very serious infection due to the work of these 2 surgeons that I've been dealing with, undiagnosed, all this time! The ONLY way to cute this bone/joint infection is too completely removed the entire prothesis, and with aTEAM of specialists including an infectologist, completely clean all of the surrounding areas and treat with specialized antibiotics. Then rebuild the entire joint. I will be on antibiotic therapy for months. I may require a 2nd surgery to completely resolve the situation. Additionally, when I have attempted multiple times to obtain my medical records from this doctor or the hospital, they keep telling me they cannot locate the records I am requesting. I would stay far far away from this doctor, his office, and the Banner University Hospital in Tucson.
