Southwest Skin Specialists is one of the Valley’s leading dermatology practices. With a staff of ten board-certified physicians, we specialize in all areas of dermatology, including general dermatology, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatopathology. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of dermatologic care to our patients, delivered in the most respectful, compassionate and effective manner.
Our patients can be assured that a board-certified dermatologist and expert in Dermatology will evaluate them at every visit. Each of our physicians has received advanced training by completing an internship and a comprehensive 3-year residency program in Dermatology, following medical school. The American Board of Dermatology has recognized each of us as Fellows and our board certifications have been maintained by recertification examinations every 10 years.
In our continuing efforts to provide superior dermatologic care to our patients, Southwest Skin Specialists has established an in-house Dermatopathology (skin pathology) Laboratory. This certified laboratory, dedicated exclusively to the processing and interpretation of skin specimens is able to provide efficient, accurate and reliable diagnoses of the skin biopsies and excisions performed on our patients.
