If there could be negative stars I would give a lot of them. To start off, no my daughter has not been seen by this office. She had an appt scheduled on 4/13. We showed up for the appt and come to my surprise the NP was not there. No, I was not notified and my daughters appt was scheduled to the next Thursday. The lady at the front desk then goes to tell me that she had scheduled me for another day besides the 13th. I told her no that I specifically spoke with her and my daughter was scheduled for the 13th because she was almost out of meds. I went to the office and turned in all the paperwork myself and scheduled the appt at the office while she looked at the calendar. And I know we set it for the 13th because I couldn’t do the one she had on the 10th because I was starting a new training at my place of employment. I got upset so she said she would call the doctor to see if he could “fit her in”. My daughter couldn’t be seen by the doctor that day. So the lady at the front desk said the doctor would see my daughter via FaceTime on 4/15. We waited around for the call that never happened. I called the office on 4/17 and the lady that answered the phone stated to me verbatim “he easily forgets sometimes.” Then she goes on to tell me that it’s no fault of my own. Then proceeds to tell me that the first available appt with anyone will not be until the 2nd week of May. My daughter takes haldol as one of her several medications. If she is without the medication then she will end up in a psychiatric hospital. And for absolutely NOTHING she or I did wrong. We showed up to the appt because nobody reached out to us to say it was being rescheduled, they just rescheduled her. I have the txt message stating that she had an appt on 4/15 @ 11 with the doctor. So because of their mess ups my daughter will be without medication now and potentially in the psychiatric hospital. She is paying the price of at least 3 other people in that office and they don’t care one bit about it smh.The lady never called me back today to make it right or have any accommodations for us. Idk who else has experienced anything like this but it’s ridiculous and I am infuriated! My daughter is 16 on the autism spectrum with several diagnoses. It’s not good for her to not have the medication that keeps her stable 90% of the time. All that office did this week was fail my daughter and that’s what infuriates me..she is a dang child and this is how y’all treat them.
