I would never go to the foreign born doctors. They have an aversion to inexpensive opioid analgesics.
Dr Nathanson was the single shining star. He was kind, compassionate and worked with me to control my pain. He was fearless and defied the “woke” DEA and AMA who blamed the opioid problem on patients and doctors instead of on the organized criminals and bankers who traffic in heroin and fentanyl.
Dr. Nathanson saw the big picture and saw me as an individual and not a “one size fits all” patient.
If you have severe unmanageable pain, Dr. Nathanson gets my recommendation.
Most of all, I miss his sense of humor, which his deadpan colleagues obviously and sadly lacked.
I’m a gentile, but if you want top notch medical care, go to a nice young Jewish doctor like Dr. Nathanson.
