According to my providers from this group, the ED is not the place to come unless you are going to die. Evaluations are less than minimal (an ETT does a more thorough exam in the prehospital environment)
I wouldn't even call the evaluations I have recieved from these providers as focused exams. What was protocol at other, smaller facilities is apparently to much of a bother. If you are a woman with stroke or cardiac symptoms you WILL be dismissed. Migraine or anxiety. These doctors don't deserve the title. If you can, just fly to Seattle to go to the ER. It's going to take a hot minute longer but you have options there. Bartlett Regional is an excellent facility. The ED is subcontracted out to this group of quacks.
