I have been very impressed with Select Health. I was supposed to have infusions of antibiotics one time, and it was a very serious situation. They were going to send me home with a prescriptions for the antibiotics, and everything we needed, but I was afraid. I was VERY afraid. I knew I wasn't doing well ( in fact, when I finally was released to go home, my nurse told me that they didn't think I was going to ever go home.) Anyway, I just did not want someone setting me up with the Antibiotics every day. I was afraid, and I was seriously scared I was going to die. When I told them how worried I was, they changed my plan. The nurse talked to the head nurse, and to the doctor. They went back and forth with the insurance.and they came to the conclusion that the plan was just too frightening for me. They had me stay in a nursing home instead, so the nurses could give the antibiotics. During the whole thing, they checked with me, and made sure that I was doing well. I was so very grateful.
