Using a thin waxed floss at this time will provide smoother flossing than a regular one. Unwaxed floss is likely to get stuck to your braces. However, if you don't have any enhancement procedure done, you can use the regular floss.

Thread a piece of floss in the eye of the threader and floss your teeth like you normally would. The threader is useful to make the floss pass through the right location without getting your fingers scraped. Be gentle with your teeth and move the floss carefully.

Adding mouthwash to water flosser: Water flosser is also a popularly recommended tool by dentists for the clearing of your teeth. you can fill it with water and add mouth wash to it to prevent gingivitis and get antimicrobial protection. Use the water flosser to splash a narrow stream of water on your teeth. this can be a good replacement to flossing and removing the tiny bits of food from the teeth. Water flossing is especially useful for gum stimulation when these guys are inflamed.

Tongue cleaner: Make a habit to clean your tongue using the tongue cleaner and tongue scrapers. It helps in removing the particles on the tongue and removing bacteria. Daily scraping helps to enhance the taste buds. Make sure to rinse your mouth thoroughly after you had something to eat.
