Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming, is a critical access facility adjacent to the Laramie Mountain Range and 70 miles north of the state capital, Cheyenne. Opened in 1955 to provide medical excellence to the residents of Platte County, the facility has undergone several remodels to remain at the forefront of technology, including enhancements to the operating rooms, medical imaging, the lab department, and others.
As a 25-bed critical access facility, our hospital provides diagnostic, therapeutic, palliative and preventive care to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We offer acute-care services, cardiopulmonary care, inpatient and ambulatory surgery, laboratory services, medical imaging, including CAT scan, 3D ultrasound, and digital mammography as well as Emergency department services.
