CHI St. Luke's Health-Memorial Lufkin is home to East Texas' largest emergency room, with 32 private patient rooms, dedicated imaging and laboratory departments, and a highly qualified staff of emergency physicians, nurse practitioners and registered trauma nurses. With board certified neurologists and neurosurgeons on staff, this is the area's only Joint Commission Certified Stroke Care Center in East Texas and a Primary Level II Stroke Facility in trauma service. Additionally, CHI St. Luke's Health-Memorial is a regional cardiovascular care center, as well as the highest accredited Chest Pain Center in the area.
