In February 2005 Edgefield County Hospital completed the expansion of the new ER. Being a rural community we realized that minutes make the difference in a medical emergency. Our ER provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Edgefield County Hospital is prepared to treat or stabilize most medical and trauma emergencies. Our ER is equipped with 5 treatment rooms. The recent expansion also included a new CT Room and a separate Triage Unit. Our waiting area was also expanded, making your visit to our ER more comfortable. Edgefield County Hospital is a 25-bed hospital.
