Overview of Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center

Our roots in serving the community run deep. Good Samaritan Hospital was founded in 1875 by the Episcopal Church; Emanuel Hospital in 1912 by the Lutheran Church — each hospital began with a mission to care for the community. In 1989 they joined with Mount Hood Hospital (opened 1922) and Meridian Park Hospital (opened 1973) to form Legacy Health. Legacy added Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center in 2005, opened the new home for Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in 2012 and joined with Legacy Silverton Medical Center in 2016.
Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center provides state-of-the-art medicine right in your community. You’ll find a neighborly, inviting feel at our hospital, but don’t let that fool you –– Legacy Meridian Park offers the expertise, technology and advanced care often found only in larger, urban medical centers.
