Overview of Huggins Hospital

Huggins Hospital is a 25-bed, non-profit community hospital designated as a Critical Access Hospital. Huggins Hospital endeavors to offer the best of two worlds - the warmth and friendliness of a small town and the technical expertise of modern medicine. Located in Wolfeboro, NH, we provide primary care, diagnostic testing and specialty services in the region. Huggins provides medical services to the region’s year-round population of 30,000 residents and approximately 120,000 seasonal residents and visitors who come from all over the world to enjoy the Eastern Lakes Region. Each year, we provide hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of free community care, offering health care to those who could not afford to pay and those who are under insured. We rely on the donations and generosity of our community to make this possible.
