Heywood Hospital is a non-profit community-owned hospital licensed for 134 bed hospital, located in Gardner, Massachusetts, offers medical-surgery, specializing in bariatrics and orthopedics, and services including telemetry and intensive care, emergency care, maternity and pediatrics, geriatric and adult inpatient care, inpatient adult mental health, outpatient oncology and hematology, advanced imaging, special procedures, a skilled nursing sub-acute care unit, rehabilitation services and many others on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Dr Kalava has a pain management program that is years ahead of most other hospitals if you have pain and do not want to take narcotics then this is the doctor for you. I have been seeing him for 7 years and have not needed narcotics since then just Motrin it is so nice to not have to risk getting addicted in this day and age it is a priority that you should look for the places that will help you with procedures that limit the need for those dangerous drugs.

I normally have used larger hospitals and was nervous about trying this one but I have a chronic back problem the care I received there gave me back the quality of life I was missing this hospital was a blessing for me bigger isn't always better.
