Methodist Health was first founded in 1946 in Western Kentucky. At the time it contained 80 beds on one story. Today, our facility consists of 2 hospitals, including a 192 bed hospital in Henderson, and a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital in Morganfield. We also manage the Methodist Physician Group, a team of over 50 medical professionals working throughout 20 clinics throughout the state.
Throughout our decades of service we have been guided by our mission and vision:
Mission–Methodist Health is committed to providing exceptional quality care to promote the health of the people we serve.
Vision–Methodist Health, in partnership with others, will pursue a plan to continue to build and position the hospital as a comprehensive healthcare delivery system to meet the healthcare needs and expectations of the people in the communities served.
