St. Francis Hospital is a 25-beds, fully licensed and accredited, not-for-profit health care facility. Employing nearly 240 area residents, the hospital has a full range of medical services; surgery center; cancer care center; state-of-the-art imaging for diagnostic purposes; and physical, cardiac, and pulmonary rehabilitation. In addition, St. Francis is the only hospital in the two-county area providing maternity services. The hospital is an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System sponsored by the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis. The Hospital Sisters established St. Francis Hospital in 1875 in Litchfield, Illinois, with the mission of meeting the needs of those living within the two-county area.

After being in a car accident, I went to St. Francis Hospital for care. I was treated with the utmost kindness and care. The entire medical staff was excellent and I felt that I received wonderful care.

My mom was in the ER with head trauma, I do think they did a good job. I wouldn't say my experience was amazing but It was satisfactory. My mom left better than she came.
