Children’s Hospital Navicent Health has gained an especially strong reputation for its top-notch neonatal intensive care unit (NNICU)—one of six Regional Referral Centers for the Perinatal System in Georgia. It is the only Level 3 NNICU in the area, where we treat more than 650 babies each year. Equally as strong is the our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) which is one of four critical care units in Georgia and cares for more than 1100 patients each year.
Services Used:
Dietary services needs a lot of improvement. The nurses and doctors don’t communicate with each other. Several doctors and nursing staff come in and out of the room, each with a different plan of care. One minute my daughter is to receive one type of care then she receives something the total opposite after the shift change. Worst hospital experience I have ever had. Other reviews have shown that the staff are excellent. Personality-wise, the nurses and doctors are great, but communication-wise, something is lacking and there has been inconsistency. Erin, the life specialist, is great and her services were really appreciated. The environmental specialist have done a great job.
