Chatuge Regional Hospital, an affiliated facility of Union General Health System, is located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains on Highway 76 North in Hiawassee, Georgia. Our hospital opened as a 13 bed hospital and have since then been serving the community for over 54 years. The hospital was first named Lee M. Happ Jr. Memorial Hospital. The name changed in 1960 to Towns County Hospital and became Chatuge Regional Hospital in 1994.
