Out hospital is counted among the best hospitals in North Delhi, with over 4,00,000 successfully treated patients.
Services Used:
The management of the new, cancer dedicated building of the max hospital, Shalimar Bagh, is beyond pathetic. All the nursing staff is hired in bulk. And proved to be incompetent. My father has been admitted into this hospital 3-4 times and Every time we faced a tough time from the nursing staff.
1. The nurse didn't give my father insulin but claimed she did. Resulting, his sugar level spiked to 575.
2. In another case, nurse gave 1250mg of levipil medicine. When he's prescribed to take 750mg
3. My father has been prescribed to take oral chemo. A box containing 5 doses cost 7000. My father was admitted in the hospital for 5 days. Which means he was supposed to be given 1 med. Every day. But the nursing staff has misplaced one medicine costing 1500. And on the 5th day has ordered another bottle of medicine. When we countered. All they said is it was a human error. And made us go through 3-4 hours of debate.
4. Once, i told a nurse to please fill the water in oxygen humidifier. To my shocking she used my water bottle and filled it. When she should be using the distilled water. That time my father was fighting pneumonia! Just imagine a patient with pneumonia has been given a tap water! Such an unprofessional work!
5. When i complaint regarding this, to the nursing supervisor she said 'i will make it changed, though it's not a big issue ma'am!' The unprofessionalism behaviour from the senior of nursing staff! No doubt their staff behaves this way.
The nursing staff is really very ugly in this hospital. I would never recommend anyone to come here. Even if you have any govt. Panel or health insurance. As you have to be vigil round the clock.
