Dr. Elmore’s clinical practice focuses on both benign and malignant breast surgery. She attended medical school, completed residency in general surgery, and received a Master’s of Population Health Sciences (MPHS) at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Dr. Elmore has a specific interest in promoting equitable and high-quality healthcare for all patients. She is dedicated to mitigating disparities in breast cancer outcomes for underserved populations and patients from diverse backgrounds. In addition to her position at Penn Medicine, Dr. Elmore is the Chief of Breast Surgery at Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center.
