Urology
I chose to become a doctor because it seemed like a great way to spend a career. I wanted to help people. It seemed to fit my skill set and educational strengths. I chose to do urology because you can help patient immediately with surgery. My philosophy of care is I think we should work hard to treat everyone equally well. Outside of work, I like to read, watch TV, go to the movies and plays. I have enjoyed being an assistant scoutmaster.
A urologist is a health professional who studies and treats disorders of the urinary tract. Urologists can conduct tests, perform surgery, and help resolve any issues that a patient may be having with urination. Urologists treat the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, and adrenal glands. They can also treat some male reproductive organs that are connected to the urinary tract.
