Shannon Donofry, PhD

Shannon Donofry is a clinical psychologist with AHN Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Institute, specializing in health psychology. She treats psychological disorders using evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based therapy.

Shannon’s focus is on providing patients with treatment and support for obesity, weight management, and overall women’s health with an emphasis on women in midlife and those diagnosed with cancer.

Shannon received her doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh – joint Clinical/Biological and Health Psychology PhD program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in clinical psychology at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System/ University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her fellowship in cardiovascular behavioral medicine at Western Psychiatric Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Shannon Donofry is licensed by the State Board of Psychology. She has received numerous awards and her research has been widely published. She sees patients ages 13 and older.
