Dr. Callen practices general dentistry in the Department of Dental Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital. Her clinical interests include routine restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant restorations, simple endodontics, and limited oral surgery. With access to dental anesthesiologists and operating rooms, Dr. Callen treats medically complex, special needs, and dental phobic patients.
Dr. Callen received her degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was the recipient of both the Albert R. Pechan Award Scholarship and the Dr. Gilbert N. Robin Continuing Education Scholarship. She completed a general residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Callen returned to Allegheny General Hospital in 2011 to treat patients and serve as program director of the General Practice Residency program until January 2021. She now serves as a full-time Clinical Faculty member and General Dentist in the Division of Dental Medicine.
