Dr. Mannarino treats children and adolescents with post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression and anxiety disorders. He is one of the developers and experienced in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. His clinical interests include trauma-related disorders and trauma treatment for children and families.
Dr. Mannarino received the Legacy Award from the Greater Pittsburgh Psychological Association and the Passion Award from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He also received the Model Program Award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Prevention for “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Child Traumatic Stress.”
He was presented with the Pittsburgh City Council Proclamation of “The Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents Day” on April 29, 2014, in recognition of 20 years of service to over 6,000 children and families exposed to traumatic life events. He speaks English.
