He earned his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La. Before joining Family Medical Associates South, he was lead physician with Allegheny University Medical Practices, Upper St. Clair Medical Associates, Upper St. Clair. Previously he was with Penn Group Medical Associates, also in Upper St. Clair. Dr. Barrett has practiced medicine in the Pittsburgh area since 1986.
