Timothy J Germain, MD, FACS

Dr. Germain is the director of the AHN Plastic Surgery Center at Saint Vincent, and a member of the Saint Vincent Medical Group. He is developing a Center of Excellence for Plastic Surgery and Breast Reconstruction at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Germain's interests and expertise are in cosmetic/aesthetic surgery, specifically of the breast and body. His goal is to restore each patient’s self-confidence, beauty, and a more youthful appearance, and to use reconstructive surgery to restore patients’ form and function.

Dr. Germain received his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, graduating in the top 5% of his class. Dr. Germain received his surgical training in general surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Lahey Clinic. He pursued advanced training in cosmetic surgical procedures, adding an additional fellowship on aesthetic surgery and breast reconstruction at Charlotte Plastic Surgery, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Germain is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He recently relocated to Erie, bringing 10 years of experience from his private practice in McLean, Virginia.

Dr. Germain is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) Diplomate, American Board of Plastic Surgeons (ABPS), American College of Surgeons (ACS), International Association Plastic Surgeons (IAPS), International Society of Plastic & Regenerative Surgeons (IAPRES).
