Dr. Lim received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He earned his medical degree at The New York Univeristy School of Medicine where he was Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Columbia Univeristy Medical Center. During that time he was awared a Post-doctoral Fellowship Clinical Research Grant from the Susan G. Komen Foundation and completed a Masters degree in Biostatistics at the Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Lim cares for patients with genitourinary cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. His current research interest, for which he was awarded a pilot grant from the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, is in prostate cancer imaging to detect prostate cancer and to determine its aggressiveness. He also actively participates in multicenter cooperative group clinical trials and is involved in developing investigator-initiated studies to evaluate novel therapeutic agents discovered in the lab and novel combinations of agents for treatment of genitourinary malignancies.
