Eager to educate patients, Monib A. Zirvi, PhD, MD, performs frequent regional skin care screenings to increase awareness about the risks of sun exposure and skin cancer. Dr. Zirvi believes in the importance of partnering with his patients to help them achieve their health goals. In addition to educating them, he presents patients with information about preventive care and all treatment options so that they can make informed decisions about their health and health care.



In addition to his position at Summit Health, Dr. Zirvi is Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He has been an investigator for research projects on diagnostics for DNA cancer detection, and he is the coauthor of articles concerning a variety of topics in dermatology that are published in Archives of Dermatology, a prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journal.
