Dr. Freeman volunteered for the Community Service Program at UMDNJ and also Students Teaching AIDS to Students at UMDNJ. He received the Dr. Khachadurian Award For Excellence while in residency at Robert Wood Johnson, and was named Chief Fellow at Boston Medical Center.

When he is not working with patients, Dr. Freeman enjoys spending time with his family and following New York sports teams.
