Overview

Before joining Summit Health, Bethany Dresely, DPT, practiced at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. Dr. Dresely also has worked with Metropolitan Spine Institute in Chatham, New Jersey. In addition to her position at the Group, Dr. Dresely is an assistant swim coach at the Fanwood Scotch Plains YMCA.



Dr. Dresely says, "Recovering from a shoulder injury from competitive swimming inspired me to learn about the human body and help others. As a result, I enjoy helping my patients achieve their health goals."



To her credit, Dr. Dresely has been a volunteer physical therapy coordinator for the College of Staten Island. She also has volunteered for the Risingville Intercommunity Service Effort, which mobilizes youth teams to repair homes for underserved residents of Steuben County, New York.



When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Dresely enjoys swimming, baking, decorating cakes, and participating in church activities.
