Originally from Washington State, Dr. Christian grew up visiting his extended family in both Idaho and Montana and fell in love with the area. He completed his Residency in OB/Gyn at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He spent the next 10 years practicing at a community-based hospital in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Christian was originally interested in OB/Gyn as it provided a balance and variety of patient care – one could deliver a newborn, provide care in an office setting, and provide surgical procedures that could improve or remedy a patient’s illness.“I chose St. James Healthcare in Butte, because it is a community-based hospital that is committed to achieving excellent patient care. My wife and I love the Butte area and the welcoming spirit of the community.”When he is not working, Dr. Christian enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, boating, camping and skiing and sports like football and wrestling. But mostly, he values time with his family and friends.
