Born and raised in Midwest, Dr. John Griggs brings a passion for helping people to his new role in Beacon Health System as an urgent care and family medicine physician.
Dr. Griggs chose these two fields because he enjoys being the primary point of contact for patients when they have
a medical need. He finds great satisfaction in connecting one-on-one with patients, providing a variety of care for all ages and the hands-on nature of his work.
During every patient visit, Dr. Griggs listens and explains the available options. At the end of the day, Dr. Griggs wants his patients to go home feeling that they fully understand their diagnosis and treatment.
His success as a physician is also due in part to the exceptional team that surrounds him. Together, their focus is to help people feel better as quickly as possible.
Outside of work, Dr. Griggs enjoys spending time with his kids and honing his woodworking and do-it-yourself skills around his home.
