Scott Fisher, MD, FACS, Director of Bariatrics, is a practitioner of general surgery and specializes in the field of gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Fisher is committed to providing each of his patients with the fullest knowledge and understanding about how to best approach their medical concerns.
He earned his medical degree from Syracuse Medical School and completed his residency training program in general surgery at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital. Employing the most cutting-edge technology, Dr. Fisher’s expertise includes the following procedures: gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, Nissen fundoplication, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, upper and lower endoscopy, adrenalectomy and splenectomy.
When not treating patients, Dr. Fisher enjoys various forms of sport and recreation including mountain biking, skiing and playing hockey.
