eana is a licensed clinical psychologist and earned her degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas. Jeana approaches therapy from a positive psychological or strengths-based perspective. She believes that all people have both strengths and weaknesses, and all people exist within environments that influence them in both positive and negative ways. Jeana attends to all of these components in therapy in order to treat the whole person, rather than focusing solely upon areas of struggle.

Jeana works with adults, teens, and adolescents who desire assistance with the following: depression, anxiety, grieving, stress-management, relationship issues, adjustment to life changes or transitions, self-esteem issues, and behavior modification. She also has expertise in conducting career counseling, providing sport psychology services.

Jeana is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Wellness Institute and is the Chair of the Positive Psychology Section of the American Psychological Association’s Society of Counseling Psychology. She is the author of a book entitled “Therapist’s Guide to Positive Psychological Interventions.”
