Horrible. It would have been nice if the office staff had told me when I called to schedule the appointment 3 months ago that he was leaving. No wonder many appointment slots suddenly opened up after 2 months of waiting. Turns out, he didn't listen or document anything I said at my first appointment. He increased my medication and added another. I started having severe side effects from the increase and the medication he added wasn't working. Office staff either didn't bother writing down my questions or wrote down what they wanted. Messages didn't get through to the doctor. After 5 back and forth phone calls, he tells me to take a medication I was on before (that didn't work). I decided to use the patient portal so my questions would be in writing. Still no response after after 2 messages in 2 days. Turns out, he doesn't use the portal and nurse admitted to checking it occasionally. I was now left abandoned and had to consult with Dr. Google on how to take this medication. Three weeks later at my second appointment, my suspicions were confirmed-he didn't listen to me, doesn't care what happens since he's leaving the organization, won't change the medication that's making me sick, and told me I can see their Nurse Practioner, did not refer me to another MD, and thus left me abandoned. This is what Dr. Brandon Madia is all about. He may think he can start over at a new practice. Unless he changes his ways, he will mistreat and abandon unsuspecting future patients. Abandonment is Malpractice. I also just found out today they can't handle my "complex case" so I need to seek care elsewhere (since when is Depression and Anxiety too complex for a board certified Psychiatrist?)
