The purpose of my visit was to get a second opinion from an orthopaedic surgeon on an urgent matter, before more time passes. I only spoke with Amy Sothern, a physicians assistant, she supposedly relayed information from a surgeon I never met, without explanation, and when I began to question what she was saying, she became very flustered, before leaving the room and sending in a nurse to schedule me another visit, two weeks later, with another different surgeon. Amy Southern never returned to answer questions, or ask if I needed any other assistance. When I asked to speak with Dr. Sothern, I was told she went home. When I asked to speak with someone else, I was told Dr. Sothern was the only person available and qualified to answer my questions at the time. When I asked the nurse who could answer my questions, I was told I could ask the next orthopaedic surgeon during my appointment a couple weeks from now. Dr. Sothern was abrupt, rude, dismissive, and she left mid-appointment.
