I had a very poor visit with JoAna Werner for a pulled hamstring. She recommended I see Tria for physical therapy, but didn't put in an order there, so I was stuck going to Park Nicollet instead. She also said that if I did not show improvement I should get an MRI, but refused to put in an MRI order after a few weeks of unsuccessful physical therapy. She said I would have to go see another doctor again, who would only say I need an MRI before they are willing to make an appropriate diagnosis. JoAna was quick to recommend narcotics, but yet didn't even request an x-ray to better evaluate my injury. I had to recommend a more appropriate muscle relaxant. I feel JoAna struggles to listen to her patients and relies on others to properly prescribe the correct treatment. If you have the option, I would recommend avoid seeing JoAna Werner unless you want to waste your time and money with repeated follow-up appointments.
