Barbara Menchan, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with over 15 years of professional and clinical teaching experience. Dr. Menchan has been a pediatrician in Georgia since 2001. Before that, she was a clinical instructor and teaching assistant in the northeastern United States. Dr. Menchan serves as the Academic Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Clinical Instructor at Mercer University School of Medicine, Columbus campus. Dr. Menchan is the current Chair of Pediatrics at Piedmont Columbus Regional. She also serves on several committees, including the Quality and Pediatric Executive Committees.
