Pediatric Cardiology is a medical field that aims to help children with heart and circulatory system issues. They both diagnose and treat illness and disease. The main problems that pediatric cardiologists may deal with include heart disease, congenital heart problems, and rheumatic fever. Since these conditions can become serious, it is important to seek treatment for heart conditions in a child immediately. Pediatric cardiologists may order heart imaging, a heart transplant, or medication therapy.
