James McBride, MD, received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in 1974. He completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1978. Dr. McBride is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. McBride was named one of ""America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists"" from 2004 to 2006 by the Consumers Research Council of America. He was also named one of the ""Top Doc's for Women"" by H-Texas Magazine in 2005 and 2006. He has held several academic and leadership positions in obstetrics and gynecology at various academic institutions during the course of his career and is a member of many medical and scientific societies.
He is currently an instructor on The Woman's Hospital Teaching Staff that involves resident surgical training.
