Ting received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Michigan School of Nursing. She continued her studies at Wayne State University College of Nursing where she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing degree and became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care.
Her previous work experience includes working at Mott’s Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) where she cared for high-risk individuals from infancy to 25 years old. She also worked at Children’s National Outpatient Pediatric Neurology Clinic in Rockville, MD and Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC in the pulmonary unit where she cared for patients with acute respiratory issues requiring inpatient care. Previous experience also includes working in the General Pediatrics and Epileptic Monitoring Unit at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. and in Neurosciences at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Her career began as an RN in the Neurosciences Medical-Surgical unit at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Ting is certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support through the American Heart Association and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
