Overview

Virginia Greene, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Originally from Mesa, AZ, she joined the United States Navy in 1990, serving for nine years, including time spent overseas in the Philippines. Virginia attended Boise State University in Idaho, where she received her Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) degree. Returning to Arizona, she completed her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing and obtained her Registered Nursing (RN) degree at Arizona State University. She worked as an RN on the medical-surgical floors of both Scottsdale Shea (now Honor Health) and Mercy Gilbert hospitals. Her drive to serve others compelled her to return to school and obtain her master’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix in Tempe, AZ. After finishing her studies, she has been practicing in an outpatient-based family practice and urgent care setting in Maricopa County since 2012.

Virginia enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in our beautiful state, and traveling. She manages patients of all ages, but her main focuses have been cardiovascular disease, women’s health, and preventative medicine. Virginia believes the core of being a healthcare provider is partnering with patients and helping them understand the importance of improving their health and daily lives.
