Dr. Chin-Po Yen MD I wouldn’t recommend him to work on my dogs, I was sent to him from Martha Jefferson and all he was concerned about was talking about surgeries I had 7 years ago, then wanted me to go back to the dr that butchered my back 2 1/2 years ago and have him remove my hardware out of my back, I asked him if he would he do anything for his kids if they was in the pain that I was in and been in pain management for 2 1/2 years he said yes, but when I asked him to treat me like one of his kids he said he couldn’t, so that tells me he would rather people stay on pain pills, then to help then, I told him straight up I want out of pain management and be some what normal again, and he said he was glad I wanted out of pain management but couldn’t help me, so if you need a back dr, I wouldn’t go to him, or uva at all, this makes the 3rd time I’ve ran over there just for them to give me the run around, and then to tell me to go back to the first dr that butchered me the first time, it’s pretty bad the nurse comes in and says you poor lady something needs to be done, they need to stop doing this to you and your back looks like someone didn’t know what they was doing, but all the dr kept talking about was my very first back surgery not this last one, all he was worried about how they went thru my throat and not how they messed up my back area, stay away if you wanna keep be able to move your neck and arms, and not live in pain management forever, because these drs don’t care.
