I was really sick for 2 years. I went to the state Hospital for 5 months in 2019. I tried a lot of treatments and I didn’t get any help with my depression. I tried to kill myself twice in 2019. When I went to Centennial Pekes Hospital, I was on a short term sert for my outpatient team. Dr. Obrien agreed to let me come off of Clozaril if I tried ECT. I was really scared because of what I read on the internet. They had a lot of videos and pamphlets on it and they said I could stop it at any time if I wanted to. It was really weird but not so bad. My depression got better though after 12 treatments and I am not able to work and live alone again. I was living with my step mom and was feeling really bad about myself. Now things are back to good again for me for the first time in a long time.
