S. Chace Lottich, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast disease. Dr. Lottich has been certified by MD Anderson Cancer Network®, a program of MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was the first female surgeon to graduate from Duke University where she completed medical school, surgical residency and fellowship.
Dr. Lottich is a member of the American College of Surgeons. She has participated in resident training and mentoring students, has been involved with research at the National Science Foundation, and has published and lectured extensively on breast cancer.
She has served on the Board of The Wellness Center, American Cancer Society and Little Red Door, and has participated in two Eli Lilly pharmaceutical research trials. She helped found the Indianapolis chapter of the Y-ME patient advocacy group.
In 2011 and 2012, Dr. Lottich was named an Indianapolis Monthly "Top Doctor" for surgery.
She is the proud mother of two sons.
